We are looking for the right investor, or grant, to help us expand our company.
We are currently a dessert catering company, however, our current goal is to open our first brick and mortar location, and the long term goal is to franchise one day.
So, what exactly are our steps to go from caterers to franchisors? We need to retain financing to open our first location, within 18-24 months we would like to open our second location. Six months from the opening of the second location, we will have our first franchise open, and within 18 months we will have a minimum of 10 franchises open and operating.
The next question you may have is “If all of your recipes are family secrets, how do you plan to keep those secrets if you are franchising?” Well, the plan is to have the dry ingredients pre-measured and bagged at one manufacturer, and the wet ingredients at a second manufacturer. When brought together at the shop, dry bag A is mixed with wet bag A to make pie crust, or dry bag R is added to 5 pounds of freshly chopped apples for a perfectly seasoned apple pie, wet bag H is mixed with 10 cups of half and half to make vanilla custard, etc, etc, etc… With this method we will be able to put out a consistent product at all locations.
As well when we open our first location we will add to our menu of delectable desserts, a distinct menu of Soups, Salads, Sandwiches and Seasonal specialties, made with nitrate/nitrite free meats, organic chicken, and organic vegetables.
This is just a peek into our vision for the future of Two Slices Pie Co. We would love to hear your ideas, or if you are interested in investing, or would like to donate towards the dream, please fill in the form below.
